So I just got back from CDC and I’m so glad that everything went as planned. I have to admit that I was a little nervous before entering the room for my trial test. I managed to pass my trial test and I went to the next room to have my actual test.
Did my 50 questions, clicked ‘results’ and then PASSED! YEAH!
Printed my results and booked a timing for my advanced theory in June. After that, I went on to apply for my provisional driving licence (PDL).
Oh yeah, I was kind of thinking if my colour blindness will affect me in getting my licence. When it was my turn, I got there and I had to fill in this form to state my particulars and medical conditions. One of them was ‘Colour Blindness’.
I circled it and the person in charge looked and me and said “You are colour blind?!”
I was like “Yea…”
So, I had to take this eye test and for some reason, they said that it was not a severe on and I could go on.
Phew…
Yes, today is the day where most of us students have looked forward to. Don’t get into your holiday mood yet because we still have one last obstacle to get through before we can finally have those days where we can just do anything, anytime, anywhere.
Chinese New Year is just round the corner but I have to admit that I’m not one of those CNY people. I don’t get happy over all this CNY stuff. For years my routine would be to visit my grandmother and then socialise with my uncles, aunt and cousin. The same line will be repeated each year to me saying I’ve grown taller, I’ve slimmed down, my brother is catching up…

What’s happening in school? Well, pretty much the usual things. Assignments are piling up and there are deadlines to meet. Exams are not far from now as well, yes, I’m feeling stressed and I’m sure everyone is.
What did I do yesterday? I went to Tampines to meet Gabriel and he was really late because the buses were packed. Made me wait for half an hour before heading down to Aljunied where we met Chris for dinner.
That’s pretty much, boring right? I know, I just look forward to the holidays where I’ll get to go to Malaysia :)
