Monday Blues

It’s that time of the week where it’s just so degrading; you just pray that Friday will come soon. Have to finish 2 reports right now and the stress is building up. Well, at least I don’t have Diploma Plus on Monday.

I’m not particularly happy with the current exam timetable as there might be a possibility that I’ll have 2 papers on the same day. I don’t know why the exams must be pushed forward instead of having it after the holidays…

Mental Note

Have to finish report by this Friday if possible. Stop slacking!

I have no idea why I’m procrastinating so much these few days. I wonder if sloth is a disease or an attitude. Can it be solved or is it something built in you?

Quick Update

Just let you guys in on what’s been happening lately. Got reports to finish up and yet I’m still here, don’t you just hate that feeling when you clearly know you have something else to do more yet you choose to procrastinate and find other things to do like walk to the kitchen to look food clearly knowing that there’s no food.

Somehow, we just hope that we might stumble upon some snack and we will spend time slowly eating just to stall time. It’s close to one and my goal today is to finish my PIET report and hopefully, attempt tomorrow’s FMA tutorial. Also, you might also have noticed that there is a lack in photographs in my blog and I’m trying to resolve that by bringing a camera where ever I go. M friend’s birthday just passed and I have a couple of pictures of him “trying” to smile.

School

School so far has been great, depending on how you see it. I’m making new friends and I spend my time in school to get to know them better. My class is a good mix and I hope I’m appearing as an approachable guy. I mean, projects will be really awkward if a person wasn’t approachable right? Come to think of it, pretty much all the time.

My class is really diligent, that’s what I can deduce after knowing them for 2 weeks. I’m not saying that that’s a negative point; it’s actually a great motivator.

Oh yes, GEMS!

For those of you who are wondering what GEMS I’m in, I know, I’m so full of myself, I’m in LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS. I know what’s probably going through your mind right now, “He’s one of those desperate guys who’s going to be looking out for girls, typical guy…” Well, I’m not desperate or “despo”, whatever you call it. But the reason I enjoy my GEMS is because it’s full of energy, I actually look forward to going to GEMS every week although it early in the morning.

That’s for now; I’ll try my best to keep you guys updated!

Holidays

It’s that time once again. Holidays are approaching the end and a new semester of school will follow.

In the first year of poly life, I have made new friends, caught up with old pals, made new enemies and continued hating past enemies. Sometimes, you’ll have to forgive and forget, sort of like what Steel Panther is trying to say in one of their songs.

“I’ll still kiss you after you have swallowed my load.”

I hope that the coming semester will be a good one and that everything will go well.

Wilson is now in my class, interesting…

Looking out my window, it’s raining so heavily, and it really breaks my heart…

 

My pizza delivery is gonna take that much longer to arrive.

 

Exam Results

Yes, looking at the amount of Facebook status yesterday night commenting on how nervous everyone was on the examinations results.

Well, I checked the computer this morning and I got an instant erection. Don’t mean to be an asshole but HELL YEAH!

I got to let it out somewhere; you don’t like it, too bad.

I know we have to practice some humility but when you worked for it, you deserve it! I just hope diploma plus won’t take a toll on me when school starts.

You know what they say, “if it’s too loud, then you’re too old.”

End of Papers

Finally, this long anticipated time of the year has arrived and I can officially say that I’m moving on to year 2.

When school reopens, I’ll be starting my Diploma Plus, have mercy on me.

On the other hand, I can’t wait to get my driving license! Currently studying the basic theory and the test will be in April. My mum has already “given” me her car. I have the car but I can’t do anything with it. Hopefully everything goes as planned and I’ll be able to get my licence this year.

There will be a GO Party tonight and the page is still not done. I’ll be taking pictures tonight and maybe some videos and you can expect them to be posted on Facebook as well as my blog when I’m done editing them.

Exams

2 papers are over and 2 more to go.

Accounting was generally easy, everyone seemed to find it easy. Marketing was really easy, the late night studying with Chris paid off!

I was at his house the night before the exam and we studied till like 2.30am and I went home only to wake up at 6.00am to meet him and go to Kovan to study until 7.30 before we left for the exam.

Everything that we went through yesterday came out for the test! YEA! Lets see if the A is within our reach.

Last day of school

Yes, today is the day where most of us students have looked forward to. Don’t get into your holiday mood yet because we still have one last obstacle to get through before we can finally have those days where we can just do anything, anytime, anywhere.

Chinese New Year is just round the corner but I have to admit that I’m not one of those CNY people. I don’t get happy over all this CNY stuff. For years my routine would be to visit my grandmother and then socialise with my uncles, aunt and cousin. The same line will be repeated each year to me saying I’ve grown taller, I’ve slimmed down, my brother is catching up…

Ughh…

Surviving

Yes, I am surviving school for now. I have been through 1 and a half days of school and I’m trying my best to try and keep up. Everything is happening so quickly. I’m sure you all are having the whole “Need to complete assignments and projects, UGHH”. I know, I’m going though it myself and all the datelines are so close to each other.

Yesterday, Yee Lim came over to class to join me but it didn’t really happen as planned. Oh well, at least he got a little taste of the life of a polytechnic student. I met up with Perry after school to have dinner and went home straight after that.

This is a question I want to ask the people reading this post, is there a difference in the way you speak to your special someone? I mean, not in terms of context, maybe your tone is a little different? Some girls claim that their voice will tend to be cuter and some guys claim that guys will tend to be gentler and to maybe, swear lesser. Is this the case? If you have any comments, do leave them on this post.
