Movie Marathon

Just been watching loads of movies nowadays.

Finally, I watched “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” and it’s really weird at certain parts.

“I DON’T KNOW WHY WE’RE MAKING LOUD NOISES!”

It’s really funny and I saw “Gamer” as well. I really do not wish our society to reach a point whereby we control other people for fun, or in some cases, paid to be controlled. It’s just a screwed up idea.

Movies that I’ll be watching soon will be “Seven Pounds” and “Shutter Island”

Whoa, I got a massive erection and I’m gonna walk it off. Phew…

Sherlock Holmes

Woot, bak to bloggin….

Well, we wanted to watch avatar but it was so packed that only individual sitting were available. So, we decided to watch Sherlock Holmes as well and it was pretty good. A little humour in it here and there and I think it’s really interesting how Sherlock deduces information using all the minute details.

Anyway, Gabriel and Yee Lim had dinner before the show so Yang had dinner after the show. Sat at Carl’s Jr. watching Yang eat and we just drank a little from his refillable cup. After that we just went our separate ways home.

2012

Overall, the movie was a little ridiculous and kind of predictable. However, it’s a disaster movie; it has every right to be ridiculous and predictable. The CGI is amazing, however, I feel as if they over did certain parts of the show. I didn’t get why they had to use comedy in a show like 2012. I mean it’s like, an action show but with comedy in the mix, odd blend.

I love watching movies where they actually have a possibility o occurring and it leaves me thinking about it for some time.

Anyway, i rate the show a 7/10

The Haunting in Connecticut

At first, I thought the show was going to be a very badly made one. I don’t know why but I just didn’t expect much from this movie. However, it was much better than expected. There are lots of scary scenes and some of them are quite predictable but I have to say, it was still pretty scary.

The movie is about this family who moved into this house and the house used to be a funeral house. Strange things happened inside this house and there was also a twist in the plot. I won’t say more, I would recommend watching it.

My rating, 7/10
